Wayland Secrest was Deltapoint's Director of Research. He was responsible for managing Deltapoint's World-Class Competitiveness knowledge base, and he has the major responsibility for research and benchmarking projects. Wayland holds a Ph.D. in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Oregon, and he worked as a consultant for the American Productivity and Quality Center in Houston, Texas. Wayland also taught university courses in psychology and in management at the University of Oregon and for the University of Maryland's overseas divisions in Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
