James
LoPresti brings years of experience assisting a wide variety of companies
in such areas as benchmarking, business assessment, enterprise transformation,
executive counsel, kaizen, lean implementation, strategic planning, value
stream mapping, and 5S. He also has 12 years of factory experience
in engineering, quality, marketing, sales, and management. Jim has recognized
experience in strategic planning, training and development, forecasting
and budgeting, and new product development. He held various positions
with The Trane Company, including Sales Manager, Quality Engineering Manager,
and Facilities Engineer. While at Trane, Jim was involved in numerous
improvement projects including office and manufacturing Kaizen events.
Additionally, he was owner and Vice President of an engineering consulting
firm. Jim has an MBA from the University of Southern Colorado and
a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He has served on numerous
company, education, and community operating and advisory boards.
Tamara Meedel has 12 years of experience working and consulting for manufacturing and service industries, including Boeing, Weyerhaeuser, and Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. Prior to managing her own consulting business, Tamara worked for nine years for Boeing as Materials and Process Engineer, Engineering Manager, Continuous Quality Improvement Manager, and Project Manager. She is certified as a Master Coach for World Class Competitiveness and is experienced in Cycle Time Reduction, Process Improvement, 5S, and Project Management. Tamara also provides expertise in leadership development, strategic planning, customer satisfaction, and project planning. Tamara received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and is an instructor for the University of Washington Project Management Certification Program.
